Our Avalon Fruit Traybake really is a true taste sensation. It's a moist fruit cake flavoured with apple, cinnamon and almond and it's a recipe created by our Head Baker, Tom Grimmett who really is a cake wizard. The fruit in this cake is soaked in apple juice and almond extract overnight so they become plump, juicy and packed full of flavour. We gently bake it low and slow to retain the moisture and the resulting cake is scrumptious and very moreish indeed!
It's also served pre-sliced which is very convenient.
